GARAGE SALE: Sarausad Residence
POSTED AT 02:06 PM

Come to our Garage sale! toys, books, clothes, bags and other great finds, all ranging from Php5-Php120!

That's how our signs read last week. Yep, we are having a garage sale to get rid of all the junk this house has accumulated. Oh my, do we have a LOT of junk.

Actually we've started it already, last thursday. We opened it at 10, closed it at around 6:30pm. Our first customer was my brother's playmate, who bought a JUMANJI BOARDGAME, in very good condition of course and no missing pieces, for only...(drumroll please)...Php20!! Yep. T-W-E-N-T-Y P-E-S-O-S. Really, everything is up for sales at very very cheap prices. So if you got some lose change, come on over, you might find some great stuff. Our Archie Comics (Double Digest) are just at Php5 each, Bags range from Php5-Php15, Pillows are at Php10, there are even small items that we practically gave away. Their price? 3 for Php5. The other stuff that are on sale are clothes, both unused and used (but clean, I assure you), toys (like Matchbox and Hot Wheels for 3 for Php120 ; these are collector's editions), and um, just about anything that we want to toss out. I mean, hey, just to try to get money out of trash, right? Your trash may be useful to somebody else.

And the total revenue for the first day of the garage sale? Php600+. I forgot the exact amount but I know it was more than six hundred pesos. I hope we can still get more people to come to our sale tomorrow.

Enough spanish for one day.
POSTED AT 12:42 PM as a favorite post

Oh Lord. We had our Spanish Play-slash-exam yesterday and it was a BLAST (though it's not a paty of course. Exam nga e.)

Grabe, career lahat!! Go EARL! He played the epilieptic psycho deranged whatever kid and he was really so into it. I swear you should've seen him do it. Go sis!

Okay, shifting to something else. Friday's the day! We're just gonna eat out and watch a movie, I think. And shopping as well. SBARRO!!!!

I am so incoherent. Uhuh, what else, I'd like to receive a really large boquet of flowers, but come to think of it, I don't think he has that in mind. He's not the flowers-kind-of-guy though he knows I'm a sucker for flowers. Oh yeah, I wouldn't know how to bring it home either, so anyway, blah. Doesn't matter.

For those who gave their dedications, thanks so much

Buddha bless you. And God bless you all.

Uno punto Sitenta y Cinco
POSTED AT 01:00 PM

I got a 1.75 in my Comm paper. Not bad, not bad at all! Considering that I can still revise it and submit it on Monday. Our prof said that if we get a lower score in our final revision, she'll consider the higher score. Wheeeeeeeeeee! There are still some heaven-sent teachers in UP, thank God.

I haven't blogged in a while. It's because I was over at my mom's house. Since it's summer, our parents split our vacation to 3 and a half days each parent.

Confused? Wag niyo na intindihin. Pati ako nahihilo.

By the way, I've confirmed a summer job. I am going to teach ballet everyday! All of it in Shape M-W-F is for outreach thingy from scholars from our Municipio, and T-Th is my regular class, my primary class. So that's around 8k in one month. 16k for the whole summer. Wheeeeeeeeeeee

Uhm, yeah what else. We're gonna have a garage sale for extra money. Plus we've got a whole LOT of junk we have to get rid of. Ugh, How can our house accumulate so much stuff? Oh yeah, shopaholics pala lahat ng nakatira dito.

I am going to fail COMM.
POSTED AT 11:53 PM

I can feel it. I can just FEEL it. I'm gonna fail Comm. Okay so I crammed my Critique Paper. Duh, I made it just now. It's so difficult!

Heck, I know I can do better than this. It's just that it's so hard to bring yourslef to work knowing that others are prolly at some beach by now, basking in the sun or something. And there you are, eyebags and all, typing your Communication Critique Paper for tomorrow's submission.

Sigh, such is life. As Ms. Pam Yu would always tell us, "LIFE IS NOT FAIR. YOU'D JUST HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT." Ma'am I refuse. I refuuuuuuuuuuuuuse!! But oh well, Ma'am is winning. Turns out, life really isn't fair. It sucks, doesn't it? But we do our best.

So now that I've actually written my paper, I am going to type it this time. Yes, magakaiba yon. Don't argue kakagatin ko kayo.

I can't wait till all of this is over. I NEED A BREAK!
Feeling: stubborn. Rawr.

Diet Goddess
POSTED AT 04:44 PM

That's the second time Pippo called me some weird name. He called me up last night asking me about our concept and critique papers for our Comm II subject when her sister asked about the AFTER SIX DIET. I overheard this in the background:

Pippo's sister: Can I still eat? I'm on after six diet eh.
Pippo: Ha?I don't know. Ewan, *checks the time* Tapos na yung 6pm eh.
Chesca: After six diet? Do you know what that means? It means you only eat after six hours hindi yung you cant eat na after six pm.
Pippo: OH!!!! Teka hold on, *covers the fone and screams at his sister, relaying what I've just told him, then uncovers it*
Sister: Talaga?! How'd you know?
Pippo: Sabi ni Chesca. She's a Diet Goddess.

Riiiiiiiiiiight. That's the second time Pippo. . Yes, you complement me too much. Haha

So anyway, I'll just take this time to say I'm sooooooo relieved. My Natsci IV exam wasn't so bad, my comm paper can still be revised, and I got a 94/100 in my Spanish long exam. Muy bien Chesca, muy bien.

So there. Pero ahora, tengo que preparar y escribir mis papeles para Communicacion Dos y History Dos. Y tambien, debo areglar mi habitacion. Ya esta es muy disordenado. *ehem, ehem* [Got carried away]. Translation: But now, I have to prepare and write my papers for Comm II and History II. I also have to clean my room. It's already very disorganized.

One of these days I'm gonna write an entry that's pure Spanish.

Now all I need to do is to get through tonight and I'll be fine. Tomorrow, I need to get up at 4:30 to get to my sister's COLLEGE GRADUATION. Wheeeeeeee Ate I'm so proud. Congratulations. Here's my sched for tom:

4:30: wake up and prepare for Ate's Grad
5:45: leave for PICC
8:00: enter PICC, shoot video of Ate's Grad
10:00: fly to UP Manila for my 10am Math class*
*actually it still depends if dad and I are gonna go out.
2:30: Submit all papers [History and Comm]

And then wheeeeeeeeee I can go home!! And have nothing to worry about for the next two or so days! Yeeeeey!

Oh yeah. I'm incoherrent again today. I just can't bring myself to type all the things I have to type for tomorrow. It's prolly because all of my friends are already on vacation and I got none. Oh pfft.

Saklolo! Mga Kapitbahay! MAGNANANAKAAAAAAAAAAW!
POSTED AT 02:08 PM

That goes to my biological dad. Some poor boy broke into our garden via our very, very low back wall. We've warned him many times that he should have it raised because it's only a matter of time before someone would attempt to break in and steal some stuff. And uh, all of the stuff here are really good stuff.

I screamed at the boy, saying "Hoy! Anong ginagawa mo dyan?"

Believe it or not he actually looked calm. But when he saw that I was going out of the house he ran for it. I followed him to the back, with caution of course. Turns out he jumped over the wall already, which means, I couldn't chase him anymore. I looked over the wall just incase he was hiding on the other side. I didn't find him, but I saw what they were trying to steal. On the other side of the wall lay a shirt and a pair of shorts. Both were my dad's. He left them in his haste I think. Just this tuesday the guard from our subdivision went to our house a little past dinner time to report to my dad that there was an attempted break in here by TWO MEN AT AROUND ONE IN THE MORNING.

Thank God for honest tanods who do their job. God will bless all of your efforts. Of course the tanod screamed at the men, and the would-be-thieves ran for dear life. I think they're gonna come back. Sooner or later I just KNOW they'll be back. And by that time, MAY GRILLS NA AT HALOGEN LAMPS ANG LIKOD NAMIN. Plus electric-shock-mechanism-when-you-touch-the-grills care of yours truly.

You'd have your b***s fried before you get in here you stupid bastards.

Idlip.
POSTED AT 07:44 PM

That's all I had to today for rest actually. A three hour nap. You might ask, three hour nap? Isn't that long already considering it's just a nap? Well yes, it is long, but the nap I'm talking about was supposed to be my sleep at the end of the day.

I wasn't able to sleep because I was busy refining my research paper to meet today's deadline. I was actually quite pleased with myself with the research paper that I was able to straighten out last night. My dad and I were chatting in between to keep me sane. He was playing Grandia while he waits on me to PM him. I told him to reply asap when I buzz him coz that means either I'm already losing my sanity or am already experiencing writer's block.

There are still a number of things I have to do, but the Workaholic has to shift to sister role and give way to ZI's request. I'm gonna level up his Khan for a while.
